The client never had a proper Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategy in place. They wanted to increase organic search presence both on Google and YouTube. The client had a large product listing with different variants.
How Fractional CMO helped the client with a robust SEO strategy
First, Fractional CMO conducted an audit of the client’s website. Our team searched for technical issues, crawlability, error pages, etc. We found that there was a “no index” tag on the website which prevented the required visibility in Google. We resolved this issue and improved the client’s searchability.
Later we focused on all the product pages listed on the website. These pages were not optimized for SEO. So we optimized all the pages through keyword research and meta-data creation. As a part of on page optimization, we performed a content audit and suggested recommendations to improve the SEO effectiveness of the existing content on the website.
Through competitive analysis, we helped the client with key inputs that enabled them to make the required changes in their product pages in addition to optimizing the content on their YouTube channel.
As a part of off-page SEO activities, we reviewed their existing backlink profile. As there were no backlinks, we created a PR and media planning strategy to acquire backlinks on a monthly basis.
