Challenge: Techolution needed a marketing expert who could conceptualize and execute its first-ever webinar.

Techolution planned to host its first-ever webinar but struggled to drive webinar registrations. They needed a marketing partner to help with promotion and execution.

How Fractional CMO built and carried out the webinar plan in two weeks

Week 1 - Webinar Promotion

Fractional CMO was running against the clock; our team had only ten days to run promotional campaigns for the webinar. At this point, Techolution did not have a contact database in place to run the email campaign. In only two days, we created a database of 1000 contacts that included mid and senior-level executives whom we could contact to promote the webinar. 

We also created a landing page, a sequence of email nurturing campaigns, and workflows to manage e-vites and webinar registrations. 

During the email campaign, we encountered some issues with email deliverability due to the high bounce rate. We recalibrated the email strategy by dividing the entire list into sub-lists to resolve this issue.

Week 2: Preparation for D-Day 

  1. We performed a dress rehearsal with all panelists and hosts to ensure everyone got accustomed to the webinar platform. 
  2. Nurture campaign emails we’re sent to our database of 1000 contacts 
  3. We conducted a final dress rehearsal with the client. The team was all ready and excited to host their first webinar.

Week 3: Post webinar engagement

  1. Techolution hosted its first successful webinar. 
  2. It was time to kickoff the post-webinar engagement activities by sharing a thank you email to all attendees along with a webinar recording. We also sent a copy of the webinar recording to registrants who missed the event.
